That my friends is a sprayer. It's hard to see him but Kreg's in there driving it. I got to ride with him yesterdsay (my first time in the sprayer) and let me say I was very impressed. He drives it with a steering wheel, a joystick, and a GPS system. The corn is pretty tall so its hard to see the rows and he would be completely lost without the GPS system telling him where to go. And you can't exactly drive it slow either because you only want so much roundup per acre so needless to say I was very impressed with my husband's abilities. I would have never been able to drive that thing straight. The boom is 90 feet across so you have to be pretty good at learning your boundaries so you don't run in to anthing.....i.e. telephone poles, fences, etc... And while I rode with Kreg, Aiden got to play on the trampoline with Uncle Kyle....I don't think he cared one bit that I was riding and he wasn't.
On the way to the park today Aiden and I saw a garage sale so we stopped and they had toys! Aiden got his very own vacuum this morning (every man's dream....a dirt devil) and he's already been around the house several times. Too bad it doesn't actually pick up dirt!
And we had a wonderful surprise today when my mom called and said she was on her way up. We were thankful for the company. Aiden was so so so excited when grandma entered his room to get him up from his morning nap.
I had a garage sale this weekend with the help of my mom, mother-in-law, and Kreg's Aunt Anne. It was actually a lot of fun and not too overwhelming. Although I have to admit I couldn't have done it without all the help. And the best part...It was quite successful! We live in a great location for garage sales so that definitely helped. Our big ticket items mostly had to do with wedding decorations and most of them went pretty quickly.
The Big Sale
We had a very special item on display. haha
But I couldn't part with him!
Kreg and his cousin's husband, Ysidro, chillin out on the driveway.
Last weekend we went down to my parents house to hang out. It was nice and relaxing for me...being that I don't have much energy right now. I spent a little time on both Saturday and Sunday floating in the pool....lovely! So here are some pictures for your enjoyment. Aiden swimming with grandpa in his cool motorized boat. Aiden's first time eating corn off the cob. And he loved it! It's a good thing because its almost sweet corn season. For some reason he loves to sit in the refrig. Not sure how this ever started. And he doesn't care whose refrigerator it is...he thinks that little ledge is for sitting. You would think he'd get cold but he cries when I make him get out of the refrigerator. A little play time with mommy in grandma's Fire Engine Tent. And a horsey ride from daddy before bed.
I am married to the most wonderful and handsome man, Kreg, and we have two beautiful children. Aiden is now 4 and Makayla is 2. I have the privilege of being a stay at home mom. In February of 2008 Kreg began his career as a farmer. We love farm life! But more importantly we love Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and praise him for all the wonderful blessings he has given us.
